“I must have hit him 20, 30 times until my hands are tired,” said Ruffkin, with Mladinich, a former cop at the Attica Correctional Facility. “It was with a howitzer shell, which I picked up at the flea market, such as 25 cents, 50 cents.”
As Rifkin continues, he reveals that he thought the victim was unconscious after the initial attack. “It was just two-handed like a baseball bat, sideways from above,” he recalls. “I just lost control.”
Rifkin’s surprise is that the victim died after the fatal beating and now believes he drove her out of panic.
