The death of Tokyo last season left the characters as well as the fans shocked and emotional. In the final season, with the death of Nairobi his death is expected to have an effect on the psyche of the crew. Will the robbery crew die or survive?– The question hangs because the only thing stopping Tamayo from sending the full force of the police and army is the gold being held hostage.
The Spanish event has been one of the most polarizing shows of the past five years, crossing the language barrier and entertaining millions of non-Spanish speakers from around the world. While we still wait for the viewing figures from Part 5, we do know that Part 4 ensured that Money Heist became the most viewed non-English title of all time, when 65 within the first month. More than a million families tuned in to watch.
The series has led to a huge expansion in demand for Spanish content around the world, with dozens of upcoming Spanish-based projects included. Blooper reports that demand has led to a shortage of filming equipment in the country.
It’s been a long road of twists and turns, but we can’t wait to see what the final part of Money Heist has in store for us.
Like the robbery crew, Alicia is now one of the most wanted women in all of Spain, Europe and arguably the world. After confronting the Professor and ousting Marseille and Benjamin, the heavily pregnant Alicia gives birth. The last time we saw Alicia was when she took a pair of players from the bathroom and hid them inside her sleeve. This means that Alicia isn’t quite on the Professor’s side yet, and there’s still a very good chance that she could be the catalyst for the heist’s downfall, or at least the Professor’s end.
Why Alicia would betray the Professor is obvious. The last thing she wants to do is spend the rest of her life on the run from the police while trying to raise her child. By handing the Professor over to the police, she can return to the goodness of Colonel Tamayo.

Nairobi’s death was devastating to the crew, and Tokyo’s death would have a similar effect on their psyche. With more hostages left, the only thing stopping Tamayo from sending the full force of the police and army is the gold being held hostage and the fact that the professor has a damning recording of the colonel.
Naturally, we expect to see one or two robberies destroyed, but we also expect to see a few survivors, even if that doesn’t mean the gold has been stolen. Given that the entire heist was launched to retrieve Rio from the hands of the police, he is one of the few people we would hope to avoid.
One of the subplots of Season 5 of Money Heist has been the introduction of Berlin-based cyber security expert Raphael Bette. Despite his reluctance and resentment, Raphael eventually learned to steal and wanted to join the family business. However, those events precede the theft of the Spanish mint, and Raphael has yet to be seen or involved by the professor.
Raphael may actually be an exile from the family. That’s because we’re assuming Raphael and Tatiana ran away together, breaking a heart, but probably leaving Berlin behind.
Raphael is currently the wildcard, and with his help, the crew and the Professor can finally find a way to escape.
There were many twists and turns during Money Heist, but sadly, no one can survive with four grenades in the chest. Tokyo’s sacrifice gives the crew more time, as she was able to kill Gandiya, Sagasta and most of the Special Forces personnel.
Some fan theories suggest that we will see the return of Tokyo in the final season. At the very least, we expect to see her character in a flashback or two.
There are many more theories that we can’t cover here to explore that are worth a read. The Fura di Series has put together their top 7 theories leading up to the final season.
The first part of Money Heist season five was an action-packed thrill-ride, but a recent trailer suggests that part two is going to be a lot more gloomy.

It shows that the gang is still dealing with the death of that shock character in the first part, before all kinds of chaos begins – from the search for the professor’s whereabouts to the police entering the bank to catching the robbers. .
It certainly looks unlikely that the Professor and his gang of Dali-masked thieves will get away with it, or indeed everyone will make it out alive.
Money Heist fans around the world will be in awe of the shocking ending to season five, part one, which hits Netflix on Friday, September 3.
Luckily, they won’t have to wait long to find out how this epic crime saga is going to end, as the final batch of episodes are just weeks away, set to release on Friday, December 3.
The streaming service announced the Money Heist season five release schedule in May, with a tweet and a teaser trailer for the show’s surprise conclusion.
After Money Heist season five was first announced in 2020, the renewal came as no surprise after dominating the fourth outing on Netflix’s top 10 list worldwide upon release.
Filming on Money Heist season five in May 2021, as confirmed by Netflix, shared an image of the cast with the caption: “Thank you all the fans for being a part of La Resistencia! We can’t wait to show you how this story ends.”
Part one ended when we left in the tremendous Money Heist season five, with fan-favorite character Tokyo sacrificing her life for the team, but behind-the-scenes teasers have confirmed that Ursula Corbero via a Will return in the role in a flashback cameo (as well as continuing as the show’s narrator, as we heard in the trailer).
Heist mastermind The Professor, played by lvaro Morte, is arguably the lead character now, currently finding himself in a volatile alliance with disgraced police inspector Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri).
It remains to be seen whether the two will find some common ground, or whether Sierra will hand him over to the police despite significant help in delivering her child.
The Professor has had the privilege of converting people to his cause in the past, most notably Raquel Murillo aka Lisbon, played by Itziar Ituno, one of the characters currently fighting to escape the Bank of Spain.
Also included are longtime team members Rio (Miguel Heran), Denver (Jaime Llorente), Stockholm (Esther Acebo) and Helsinki (Darko Peric), who are badly injured after crushing their legs in an explosion. .

He may have missed his chance as security chief Gandiya (Manuel Poga) was killed in Tokyo’s final grenade attack, but this is yet to be confirmed.
On the villainous side, fans are anxiously awaiting word on whether the much despised Arturo Roman (Enrique Arce) will survive the final season, with his position recently described as “critical” by Colonel Tamayo (Fernando Cayo).
Arce recently told RadioTimes.com that he was “disappointed” by his character’s dark direction in Money Heist season four, and “prayed” the show’s owners to change his mind.
Pedro Alonso and Patrick Criado will likely return on-screen as father-son duo Berlin and Raphael, whose story so far has largely diverged from the main narrative.
It is unclear whether Sky Rojo star Miguel ngel Silvestre will return in part two as Tokyo native Prem René, given that the character’s story is over.
It’s ironic how important the character has become to the show’s story, but Money Heist creator Alex Pina recently claimed that the powers that be, Berlin once requested, should be written off in its entirety.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, he said: “I had no intention of excluding him from the series. Somebody told me, ‘This character doesn’t fit in with the times. You should throw him out of the series.”
Of course, Berlin clung through flashbacks after her death in season two, something Pina is overjoyed at.
The author continued: “[She] is in many ways a misogynist, narcissist and psychopath …
Money Heist season five stars José Manuel Seda as the “cold and ruthless” Sagasta, commander of the Spanish Army’s Special Forces, but his squad has suffered some major injuries since taking on the Professor’s gang.
In a recent teaser showcasing some of the show’s behind-the-scenes action, we were promised “heavy” second half of season five, with “extreme tension”.
