The Jammu and Kashmir branch of the BJP on Tuesday expelled three of its members for alleged anti-party activities.
According to the party spokesperson, Anirudh Sharma, Ravinder Pathania and P. Boss are removed from the party’s responsibilities and the party can also take more strict action against them.
The disciplinary committee, which included Sunil Sethi, Virendrajit Singh and ND Rajwal, submitted its report to J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina, under whose orders he was removed from his current posts in the party and warned of strict action.
It is pertinent to mention here that Anirudh Sharma, Municipal Councilor W. No. 7, Bhopinder Raj, Municipal Councilor W. No. 14, Ravindra Pathania, Municipal Councilor W. No. 20, Karan Singh, Municipal Councilor W. No. 11 and Joginder Pal Municipal Councilor W No 17 from Kathua Municipality Committee moved a no-confidence motion against the elected representatives of the party in Municipal Committee Kathua, which was gross indiscipline in the party on their part.
Taking cognizance, the spokesperson said that he was issued a show cause notice by the Disciplinary Committee of Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu and Kashmir as he was directed to reply to the committee within 4 days, but he did not give any proper reply.
Earlier, Anirudh Sharma was the District Spokesperson, Ravinder Pathania District Convenor of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and SC Morcha District President of P Bose Party.
